Brand new inkjet V.I.P. coating from SIHL optimised for waterbased inkjet printing is both water and chemical resistant.
In time for Label EXPO Chicago Sihl GmbH present the new coating within the SIHL FACE STOCK collection. The special V.I.P. coating “XM1” for waterbased inkjet printing is characterised by water and chemical resistance.
With the “XM1” Sihl expands the collection of V.I.P. coatings for waterbased inkjet printing, especially pigment inks. The coating is not only water and chemical resistant but also abrasion-resistant. “XM1” on a BOPP film is optimal for self adhesive labels for drum labelling.
Released by BS5609
Currently the “XM1” is coated on a BOPP film. The product “PICOFILM O-60 white XM1” (grade 8000) carries the BS5609 (section 3) standard when printed on Primera Lx2000e, KyaroD and Epson C-3500.
The coating “XM1” expands the comprehensive collection of inkjet V.I.P. coatings, which are available on BOPP or PET films. This collection includes the “IHG1” (for inkjet, quick drying, gloss), “IG1” (for inkjet, quick drying, satin-gloss), “ILG1” (for inkjet & laser, gloss) and the “ILM1” (for inkjet & laser, matt).
The complete SIHL FACE STOCK collection includes high quality coated films, on PET, OPP and PP bases, which are especially developed for further processing with a self-adhesive coating in the labelling sector.
Various base films and high quality coatings guarantee an optimal further processing on laser, thermal transfer and inkjet printers, and excellent printing results.
